As an experienced financial advisor, Gary covers the full spectrum of portfolio conception, construction, monitoring, management and reporting. He oversees all trading activities at the firm including stock, bonds, options, UITs and mutual funds. His primary aim as a portfolio manager is to create a balanced strategy in accordance with each client's goals and level of risk tolerance.
Gary began as a broker in 1981. He holds multiple securities registrations including the Series 3, 7, 8, 63 and 65 as well as Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
Gary graduated from Ozona High School (1977) and Tarleton State University (1981) with a BA in History and a minor in Geology.
With his wife Rebecca, his children, parents and siblings, Gary's family is his top number one priority. He also loves to exercise, be outdoors, do yard work and care for the family pets.

Mercedes Barker is responsible for compliance for the firm as well as stock option portfolio creation and management.
Mercedes has an extensive trading background. She co-founded a company that developed trading systems based on technical analysis, delivering live trading signals for the E-mini S&P, Nasdaq, Dow and DAX future contracts to members and students of the firm's trading academy. She also ran her Futures and Commodities brokerage firm serving as its Commodity Trading Advisor. Having lived in Barcelona, Spain and Buenos Aires, Argentina for a total of 25 years, she is fluent in Spanish.
Mercedes holds multiple securities registrations including the Series 3, 7, 63 and 65 as well as Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
She is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. A CDFA® is one who specializes in the financial issues surrounding divorce. Her role as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst includes acting as an advisor to one party’s divorce lawyer, or as a mediator for both parties. She uses her knowledge of tax law, asset distribution, and short- and long-term financial planning to achieve an equitable settlement.
Outside of these activities, Mercedes has two main passions, bridge and music. She plays tournaments regularly and is an accredited ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) teacher and club director. As a Life Master bridge player, she plays bridge tournaments all over the country. Mercedes is also an is an ex-professional jingle writer/producer for TV and radio, and is a singer/songwriter who still enjoys recording in her home studio.

Mike Moore has worked in the financial services industry helping clients since 1983. He specializes in retirement planning, financial planning, risk analytics, and education planning and coordinates all client services for the firm from his office in the Texas Hill Country. He has years of experience creating balanced roadmaps to help clients achieve their most important goals.
He holds multiple securities registrations including the Series 7, 63 and 65 as well as Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
A native west Texan, Mike graduated from Midland's Lee High School in 1972 and Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches in 1977 with a BS in Forest Management. Prior to starting his career as a Financial Advisor, Mike worked as a landman in the oil & gas industry in North Dakota, Montana, Michigan, Kansas and Texas and as a forester with the US Forest Service in Idaho, Colorado and New Mexico.
Mike cares deeply about natural resources. He is a Certified Texas Master Naturalist where he volunteers to provide education, outreach, and services dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within communities for the State of Texas. He also volunteers with youth programs, operating parks, nature centers and natural areas, and provides leadership in local natural resource conservation efforts.
When he is not at work, Mike can be found fishing, boating, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, gardening and bird watching. He especially enjoys spending time with his three grown children, their families and his 10 grandkids. He is also an active member in his church serving as a Stephen Minister and providing Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.
